Camp Description

Computer vision is a subfield of Artificial Intelligence. Computer Vision is the use of photographs and videos to give computers an “eye” of the real world. This camp will cover the theory, design and implementation of algorithms that can automatically process visual data to recognize objects, track and recover their shape and spatial layout. We will use python libraries such as CV2 and CV3 to create artificial intelligence-based programs that are on the bleeding edge of technology. An example is facial recognition. Using a camera to look at a face and detect if it is the correct person is an example of a project we will do. The prerequisite for this camp is intermediate python.
